This prophecy was given to me by Brendan McCauley on Sunday 20th July.
Those who know me and those who have read my blog in it's entirety will know how correct this word is!!
'What the Lord said to me was, "Oranges and lemons say the bells of St Clements." "Your sound, the sound of a bell goes way beyond the parish that you’re in, it will go, the sound of it will go." There's something about the bell, the Lord has called you to be a bell ringer, to warn people to be a watchman, waken up, listen to the time, hear the sound. And the colours - I think orange and yellow, they talk about - the yellow speaks about welcome, friendship. The orange is perseverance - there's a lot of the perseverer in you, and your ministry, whatever it is needs perseverance. You need to persevere and keep ringing the bell. Watchman - there's something about the watchman, watching over the flock, watching over the people. You're called to be a watchman, on the wall, ringing the bell, bringing people together. Persevere at it, you're welcoming people, welcome the people in. Welcome them to come and join you, you're ringing, you're ringing a call. What you're doing is you're giving out a call. There's a call - you're saying come, come. The call is going out so ring that bell loudly. Don't be afraid to ring it, don't let anything stop you, just keep ringing it. It will go beyond the parish you're in, or in the situation or fellowship or whatever you're in. And that's ok. They will come. If you will ring it, they will come. If you ring it, they will come. And some people will come over walls. Some people from divisions will come over walls to whatever for whatever you're doing. Then maybe they'll go back over the walls or whatever I don't know. There's something you're calling - you're sending out a call, you're going to send out a call or something like that. Does that make sense?'
